Construction Senior Project Manager - (Energy and Infrastructure)

Kelley Construction is a multi-faceted commercial and industrial general contractor licensed to perform work in many states across the United States. We offer a wealth of technical expertise in all areas of commercial construction including: restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, fast food chains, large design-build expansions and general office renovation. We also have broad experience in industrial construction, from liquid storage and containment and petroleum related construction to pre-engineered metal buildings and concrete construction.

Position Summary:

To provide Project Management and oversight for all phases in construction of heavy industrial (inside the fence) projects in the Louisville and surrounding Region, including estimating, workforce, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects
Build relationship with subcontractors and business partners in the market
Oversees performance of all projects and timelines, including employees, contract trade workforce and any subcontractors
Reviews engineering drawings to ensure all specifications and regulations meets regulations, and are being followed
Will be responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and obtaining all necessary permits and licenses
Reviews and responds to any safety concerns and/or infractions, to ensure that they are corrected and reported in a timely manner
Tracks project schedule and ensures that projects stays within estimated timeline
Controls construction cost, deliveries and schedule to achieve completion of project within budget allocation
Communicates with owners about progress and any necessary modifications of plans
Serves as Louisville market project expert for the division
Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

5 + years of Industrial Project Experience
4 + years of mid to executive level leadership experience
Must have large project, multi-million dollars, construction experience
Must be able to read, interpret and execute engineer drawings, estimates, work instructions
Ability to develop and lead employees and contract workforce
Possess a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift, bend, stoop and reach. Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time, view computer monitor and use keyboard.
