Summary: Provides strategic leadership for all Human Resources functions across the organization. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring compliance, and driving a high-performance culture focused on accountability, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

The Director partners with Executive Leadership and Operations to support organizational growth, workforce planning, and risk management, while leading and developing both Corporate and Site HR teams.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Serve as a strategic partner to Executive Leadership and Operations.

• Drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and succession strategies.

• Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee talent acquisition strategies and leadership hiring.

• Develop and maintain a strong management pipeline to support growth.

• Lead performance management processes, including evaluations and development planning.

• Design and implement leadership development and training programs.

• Provide oversight and direction on complex employee relations matters.

• Lead investigations involving policy violations, misconduct, and workplace concerns.

• Ensure consistent, fair, and timely resolution of employee issues.

• Represent the organization in external matters, including EEOC and related agencies.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Maintain and oversee HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

• Manage unemployment claims, audits, and regulatory reporting.

• Partner with Safety to support risk mitigation and workplace safety initiatives.

• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.

• Lead HR operational excellence, including systems, processes, and documentation.

• Develop and manage the HR department budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency.

• Utilize HR metrics and data to support decision-making and identify trends.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and morale.

• Strengthen relationships between leadership, employees, and clients.

• Support site leadership through regular engagement and HR presence across locations.

Work Expectations:

• Must maintain flexibility to support operational needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special projects when required.

• May be required to visit multiple customer sites within the assigned service area.

• Must ensure coverage of services during operational changes, staffing shortages, or customer requests.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.

• Ability to walk production floors and travel between sites as needed.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Education Requirements (All)
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR leadership experience
Experience in multi-site and/or manufacturing environments preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
Business Administration
or related field required.
Certification Requirements (All)
SHRM-SCP
SPHR
or equivalent certification preferred
