Job Summary/Purpose
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight and leadership of the clinical staff within a rural health or primary care clinic setting. This role ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards, including Quad A accreditation requirements. The Clinical Supervisor serves as a liaison between clinical staff, providers, and clinic leadership, and is responsible for fostering a collaborative and compliant work environment.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
· Supervise daily clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow and adherence to clinical protocols.
· Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to staff.
· Monitor staffing needs and assist with scheduling and coverage in collaboration with RN Manager of Rural Health Clinics; support clinical care directly during high-volume or short-staffed periods.
· Ensure understanding of and compliance with Quad A standards across all clinical operations; lead efforts to enforce and maintain Quad A accreditation requirements.
· Collaborate with leadership on the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures in alignment with Quad A and rural health regulations.
· Support orientation and ongoing training for clinical staff to maintain clinical competencies and compliance.
· Participate in performance evaluations and assist in coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
· Promote a culture of patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required Education
· High School Diploma or associate degree

· Knowledge of critical thinking at a higher level within scope of practice
· Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer systems.
