Job Summary:

Under the supervising physician and/or mid-level provider along with the physician practice support manager, the clinician is responsible for providing standardized counseling/talk therapy, for patients with mild to moderate mental health conditions and/or substance abuse who are referred by physicians and mid-level providers. The clinician will work to address other social needs of patients and will utilize area referral sources for needed specialty care, hospitalization, or advance psychiatric assessments and treatments. The clinician also provides services for the HMH EAP program.

 

Required Education, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Current KY LPCC, or LCPC
  • Master’s degree from an accredited university required
  • Current BLS required
  • Must maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of health and social issues impacting diverse clients and their well-being. 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
