Job Summary/Purpose 

Responsible for turnover of the OR. Will cross train as a backup to scrub technicians. Transporting patients before/after procedures to the OR and other designated areas. Maintains and stocks supplies and instruments.  

  

Essential Key Job Responsibilities 

·         Assist with surgical procedures 

·         Turnover of the OR rooms 

·         Will cross train as a surgical technologist 

·         Transports patients to/from Pre-Op, Post-Op, PACU, and OR 

·         Supply inventory 

·         Could be placed in on-call rotation after successfully completing training as surgical technologist 

  

Role Minimum Qualifications 

  

Required Education 

·         High School Diploma or equivalent 

  

Required Licensure and Certifications                -At Hire 

  • SRNA
  • BLS

Required Licensure and Certifications                -Post Hire 

  • None

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

·    Must be able to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology. 

·    Ability to perform detailed assignments and work under stress 

·    Detail-oriented 

·    Must meet a 20-minute callback time

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
Certification Requirements (All)
BLS
SRNA license or 1 year of OR experience
