The Lifeguard will be responsible for the pool at Rauch Inc.’s location in the Hawthorn Glen neighborhood and will oversee the pool and pool area while in the use of the residents who are individuals with disabilities. The lifeguard staff is lifesaving and is key in the prevention of any actions deemed inappropriate, which could jeopardize the health or safety of any individual.

This opportunity is seasonal.
The schedule is flexible to your availability, but it must be consistent.

Key responsibilities of the job are:

The Lifeguard will maintain safety in the pool and pool area.

1. The Lifeguard will utilize best practices while lifeguarding to prevent emergency situations.
2. The Lifeguard will be lifesaving support when emergency events arise.
3. The Lifeguard will maintain control over the pool.
4. The Lifeguard will open and close the pool as well as complete logs daily.
5. The Lifeguard will be knowledgeable of and enforce pool policies.

Requirements:

Must have a current Lifeguard Certification or be able to obtain certification upon hiring. We can help you get certified!

Must be 18 years or older

Must have reliable transportation to and from the pool’s location
