The Wellspring PAD Team supports adults with serious mental illnesses who are involved with the justice system and have been recently incarcerated or are at imminent risk for being incarcerated. 

The PAD Program Manager participates in regular team meetings and works in partnership with the PAD CM, Peer Specialist, and Clinician. The PAD Program Manager oversees the coordination of services provided by the PAD team members. All members assist clients in gaining access to medical, social, housing, educational, and other support services. The PAD Program Manager oversees the development and facilitation of individualized recovery goals via assessment, connecting to resources, and monitoring progress. The PAD Program Manager will also collaborate with community partners including but not limited to those in the local justice system. The PAD Program Manager will evaluate and assess incarcerated persons for PAD program eligibility, track program outcomes, and work closely with the court system and public defender’s office. The PAD Program Manager completes electronic documentation and supervises completion and quality of work by PAD team members ensuring services demonstrate medical necessity within 24 hours of client contact. 

The PAD Program Manager will have a belief in recovery from mental illness and an enthusiasm for helping persons with disabilities, rooted in empathy and compassion, demonstrating a careful and caring attitude.  

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. Experience working in or collaborating with the justice system is preferred. 

A personal vehicle is required as the PAD Program Manager will occasionally transport clients to appointments.
