Prosoft is seeking qualified candidates for a Technical Product Owner position with our enterprise client in Louisville, Kentucky.

  • This is a full-time, long-term contract position with no end date and Prosoft offers the following benefits:

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Enable the development teams to deliver new features effectively removing impediments, managing, maintaining, and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
  • Set priorities, translate product vision into precisely defined requirements to build product roadmap for Scrum team by collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Communicate requirements from business/product stakeholders to technical team members.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure stakeholders understand the needs of internal users and external customers.
  • Help facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, demos, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Provide status updates to relevant stakeholders by tracking and monitoring progress and metrics.
  • Make calculated decisions regarding the product roadmap based on the effectiveness of new and existing features.
  • Review business needs, refine priorities, and identify opportunities and risks on a continuous basis.
  • Communicate upcoming product changes and release plans/schedules with business stakeholders.

 

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of professional experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Be a highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Demonstrate high-level communication and a strong desire to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt and overcome unexpected changes and resolve issues effectively.
  • Firm understanding of software development and the full Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience advising technical/ business stakeholders concerning product management and delivery.
  • Experience working with large Enterprise Scrum teams within an Agile/Scrum environment.
