POSITION OVERVIEW

Working with the Director of Employee Experience and Human Resources Manager, the Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator will develop and execute organizational recruitment strategies that include sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, placement, and onboarding of qualified applicants for key positions across the company. If your intuition is sharp, you have a keen eye for finding the right people and placing them in the right “seats” (or could use spots or positions), and you want to be a part of leading a stellar employee experience, we want you on our team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Recruitment

· Work with the Director of Employee Experience and Human Resources Manager to craft and execute staffing strategies that will ensure high quality candidates and cultural/organizational fit throughout the recruitment, hiring, and placement process.

· Think creatively to refine the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process to be innovative, candidate-friendly, and expeditious - providing the organization with a competitive staffing advantage.

· Deliver exceptional customer service to potential candidates with a primary focus on operational excellence, proactive, competitive, and cost-effective recruitment solutions.

· Manage the organization’s applicant tracking system and HRIS to efficiently move candidates through the hiring and onboarding process.

· Leverage all traditional and non-traditional sourcing and recruitment marketing, including professional events, job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc.

· Source, screen, and interview candidates for janitorial positions in various facilities.

· Develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing requirements.

 

2. Onboarding

· Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures, mission, vision, and values.

· Facilitate the completion of all required onboarding documentation.

· Work closely with hiring managers to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

 

3. Collaboration

· Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.

· Assist hiring managers in the scheduling of interviews to ensure applicants are efficiently moving through the hiring process.

· Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

4. Compliance

· Work with the HR Team to ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

· Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and resume databases.

· Microsoft 365 Knowledge: Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

· Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred, but not required).

· 2+ years of experience in recruitment and onboarding (preferred, but not required).

 

Schedule:

· Monday – Friday (35-40 hours a week)

 

Pay:

· $16.00 per hour

 

Reports to:

· Director of Employee Experience / Human Resources Manager
