Summary: The HR Specialist Support is responsible for supporting daily Human Resources operations during second shift, with a strong focus on employee relations, attendance tracking, and direct support to production leadership. This role ensures consistent application of company policies, timely handling of employee matters, and effective communication between employees and management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Supports employee relations matters by conducting initial interviews and gathering information related to concerns such as attendance, policy violations, performance, or workplace issues
- Assists with disciplinary actions, terminations, and documentation in alignment with company policies
- Provides on-site HR support to second shift operations, ensuring visibility and availability to employees and leadership
- Manages and maintains attendance tracking processes, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
- Assists with employee record-keeping, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Partners with production leadership to support staffing needs, internal movement, and basic recruiting efforts as needed
- Supports onboarding activities such as new hire orientation, badge coordination, and employee setup
- Conducts stay interviews, exit interviews, and supports engagement initiatives
- Promotes positive employee relations and helps address concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Acts as a liaison between employees and management to ensure clear and consistent communication
- Assists in implementing HR programs focused on retention, engagement, and policy compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Manager

- Must have a reliable smartphone for timekeeping, employee communication, and system access.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work both in an office and manufacturing floor environment
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
Work Schedule:
Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
