SUMMARY: Responsible for managing, leading and directing Team Members performing cleaning service at customer location as assigned. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: Includes, but not limited to, the following.  

  • Interviews, hires and trains employees.
  • Plans, assigns and directs work.
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Coordinates and leads janitorial Team Members in the execution of safety, quality, customer satisfaction, training and team work.
  • Able to work through and with counterparts in maintaining daily shift communication on all issues, changes and needs.
  • Regularly conducts daily evaluations of quality of cleaning being provided to the customer.
  • Able to maintain a safe, clean and productive work environment.
  • Complete daily administrative functions.
  • Perform or exhibit effective leadership and conflict resolution.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to train Team Members in standardized work practices.
  • Knowledge, and use and operation of, janitorial equipment such as walk-behind scrubbers, buffers and riding scrubbers.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.  

REASONING: Ability to apply common understanding to carry out uninvolved written and oral instructions. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance and color vision. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment described here reflects conditions typically found inside a school building. Employees may work in classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas while performing essential job functions. Shift Days: Monday-Friday

Shift Hours: 6PM-10PM
